Hotel Villa Italia

The Villa Italia is of course to be found on the most enchanting island of the world Majorca. A half hour by car from Palma. The clocks, here, have almost stood still over the las few years.You arrive at the Villa Italia in Puerto de Andratx after a 30 minutes drive . From the airport the journey trough Palma via Paguera by , for the most part motorway, to the fabulous southwest coast.

The large quiet bay of Puerto de Andratx is the home of one of the most beautiful yachting harbours in the Balearic Islands. If you look from here across to the other side of the bay you can recognise the Villa Italia beautifully situated on a south west slope. This magnificient old building from the nineteen-twenties was finely restored over a period of many months and completely refurnished.

We invested great care, down to the smallest detail, in the refurbishing of the Villa with 16 doubles rooms and suites. The tasteful old stucco ceilings were restored, Portuguese marble baths with round showers or tubs, and in all rooms there is antique period furniture as well as partially hand-carved beds-modelled on ancient originals. A part of the Villa, the Castillo, located above the Villa, has been refurbished in a Majorcan style, with antique oak beams and rough plaster.

The double-rooms and suites in both living areas have a high degree of comfort in common;a telephone with direct dialling, a satellite-link colour TV with international channels, Internet, Wifi, a safe, minibar, The Club Royal is the part of the Villa Italia which takes care of the physical well-being and entertainment of the guests. Every morning you will find a breakfast buffet awaiting you here in the terrace with spectacular views to the dock.
