Sant Joan de Binissaida

Sant Joan de Binissaida is a charming rural hotel that opened in 2004, located in an 18th century manor house on the east side of Minorca Island, very close to the entrance to the port of Mahón. It contains 12 rooms, an haute cuisine restaurant, 12 hectares of green space, a large open-air swimming pool, play area, a fireplace salons, WiFi, laptop at the clients' disposal, massage service and a venue with private gardens ideal for holding the most exclusive events. An ideal place to spend your rest days in an environment of silence and nature on the charming isle of Minorca, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.

The rural hotel is divided into two areas: the main house and the old stable-barn. The first has seven rooms (including the two Suite, Wagner and Rossini), the restaurant and the the fireplace salon. The second contains five additional double rooms.

From the hotel visitors may take walks through the surrounding area or along the “camí de cavalls” (horses’ pathways) that follows the coast or the various hiking trails, not to mention the option of bicycle touring.

Every day our experienced chef surprises diners with a new and attractive culinary proposal based on the day’s fresh products, combining traditional recipes from Minorcan cooking with innovative dishes incorporating the latest trends in smell, taste and colours. The wine list is very selective and includes wines produced in Minorca.
